Wiper Switch: Service and Repair
1.
On models equipped with airbag, disarm airbag as described under Air Bags and Seat Belts / Air Bags (Supplemental Restraint Systems /
Airbag System Disarming).
2.
On all models, disconnect battery ground cable.
3.
Remove steering wheel as described under Steering and Suspension / Steering / Steering Wheel / Service and Repair.
4.
Remove steering column upper and lower covers, then disconnect electrical connector switch.
5.
Remove two switch attaching screws, then slide switch out of housing.
6.
Reverse procedure to install.
7.
Rearm airbag, if equipped.
