Accord EX Coupe V6-3.0L (2001)
If an intact airbag has been removed from a scrapped vehicle, or has been found defective or damaged during transit, storage, or service, it should be
deployed as follows:
1. Confirm that the special tool is functioning properly by following the check procedure or on the tool label.
2. Position the airbag face up, outdoors, on flat ground, at least 30 feet (10 meters) from any obstacles or people.
3. Follow the following steps 4, 5, 6, and 7 or 5, 6, 7 and 8 or 7, 8, 9 and 10 of the in-vehicle deployment procedure.
Side Airbag:
4. Disconnect the 2P connector between the side airbag (A) and the side wire harness (B).
Seat belt tensioner:
5. Disconnect the 2P connector between the seat belt tensioner (A) and side wire harness (B).
6. Pull the seat belt out all the way and cut it.
