SYMPTOM
The ceiling light flickers when it's on.
PROBABLE CAUSE
A poor ground in the ceiling light switch.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Reposition the ground contact in the switch.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Remove the ceiling light assembly (see the 1998 Accord Service Manual).
2.
Move the light switch to its center position.
3.
Use a small screwdriver to carefully bend the ground contact closer to the spring contact.
4.
Reinstall the light assembly. Do not overtighten the mounting nuts.
5.
Check the operation of the light. If it still flickers when it's on, replace the light assembly.
