Passenger Airbag Replacement

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait at least three minutes before beginning work.

2. Remove the glove box, then disconnect the connector between the SRS main harness 2P (or 4P) connector (A) and front passenger's airbag 2P (or

4P) connector (B). Then remove the harness clamp (C).

3. Remove the four mounting nuts (A) from the bracket. Cover the lid and dashboard with a cloth, and pry carefully with a screwdriver to lift the

front passenger's airbag (B) out of the dashboard.

NOTE:  The airbag lid has pawls on its side which attach it to the dashboard.
