Carpet Replacement

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, and precautions and procedures in the SRS section before performing
repairs or service.

NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Take care not to damage, wrinkle or twist the carpet.

-

Be careful not to damage the dashboard or other interior trim pieces.

1. Remove these items:

-

Front seats, both sides

-

Driver's dashboard lower cover

-

Passenger's dashboard lower cover

-

Center console

-

Rear seat cushion
-

Coupe

-

Sedan

-

Front seat belt lower anchor bolt, both sides
-

Coupe

-

Sedan

-

Trunk lid/fuel lid opener

2. Remove these items:

Sedan:
-

Front door sill trim (both sides)

-

Rear door sill trim (both sides)

-

Center pillar lower trim panel (both sides)

-

Kick panel (both sides)

Coupe:
-

Door sill trim (both sides)

-

Kick panel (both sides)

3. Remove the footrest.
