Door/Trunk Ajar Indicator/Lamp: Testing and Inspection
Safety Indicator Input Test
SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, precautions, and procedures in the SRS section before performing
repairs or service.
1. Remove the gauge assembly (A) from the dashboard, and disconnect the 22P connector (B) and the 14P connector (C) from the gauge assembly.
2. Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.

If the terminals are bent, loose or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system.

If the terminals look OK, go to step 3.
3. Make these input tests at the connectors.
