SRS Indicator Comes On With SRS DTC(s) 13-3, 14-3

SYMPTOM

The SRS indicator is on and one or both of these DTCs are set:

SRS DTC 13-3 (no signal from the driver's side impact sensor)

^

SRS DTC 14-3 (no signal from the front passenger's side impact sensor)

PROBABLE CAUSE

Electromagnetic interference (EMI) or electrostatic discharge (ESD) is being introduced into one or both of the side impact sensor circuits.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Install the components of the side impact sensor repair kit.

[Each kit contains an SRS unit, driver's and front passenger's side impact sensors, associated mounting hardware, an SRS floor harness (the 2-door kit
has two harnesses), and six 30 mm adhesive-backed dust seals for the door sills.]
