Lift up the carpet, then remove the side impact sensor plate (two mounting bolts).

Unplug the SRS floor harness 2P connector from the side impact sensor.

15.

Use a Torx T30 bit to remove the two Torx bolts, then remove the side impact sensor.

Repeat steps 9 thru 15 to remove the other side impact sensor.

Note carefully the routing and clip locations of the SRS floor harness, then unclip and remove the harness.

18.

Install the new SRS floor harness. Carefully route and clip the new harness exactly the same as the original harness.

19.

Install the new SRS unit with the new Torx bolts.
Torque the bolts to 9.8 N.m (7.2 lb-ft).

20.

Plug the 18P, 14P, and 8P connectors into the new SRS unit. Push each connector until it clicks into place.
