Remove the outside door handle.

Remove the old seal and install the new seal.
4.
Reinstall the outside door handle. To prevent damage to the new seal, do the following:

Tighten the mounting bolts finger-tight.

While pushing down on the door handle, torque the rear mounting bolt to 9.8 N.m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.2 lbf-ft).

While pulling up lightly on the door handle, torque the front mounting bolt to the same value.
5.
Reinstall the door hardware, rain protector, and door panel.
