Tailgate Lock Actuator Test (Wagon)
1. Open the tailgate, and remove the tailgate trim panel.
2. Disconnect the 4-P connector from the actuator.
3. Test actuator operation by connecting power and ground to the C and D terminals. Test the actuator in each direction by switching the leads.
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the motor, connect power and ground only momentarily.
4. If the actuator fails to operate properly replace it.
