3.

Unsnap the plastic clip and remove the lock rod from the latch assembly.

4.

Remove the two bolts and the latch assembly.

5.

Install the new latch assembly with the original bolts. Torque the bolts to 10 N-m (1.0 kg-m, 7.2 lb.ft.).

6.

Reinstall the lock rod in the release lever.

7.

Install the trim panel.

8.

Check the lock cylinder and release loop for smooth operation.

NOTE:
Because the seat-back fits tightly against the side panels, it will not pop forward when it releases. You must rotate the key and hold it, or pull the loop
and hold it, and move the seat-back away from the rear shelf.
