Window is Hard to Raise or Lower

SYMPTOM

The driver's side or passenger's side window is hard to roll up or down, or it binds.

PROBABLE CAUSE

The glass has come out of the run channel.

Canadian-built Civics only:

2-door - thru VIN 2HGEJ2...PH519454 
3-door - thru VIN 2HGEH2...PH540449

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Adjust the window regulator and run channel.

1.

Remove the door panel. Refer to page 20-5 of the service manual.

2.

Use a razor blade to cut the rain protector adhesive, then peel back the protector. Be careful not to damage the rain protector.
