Impact Sensor: Service and Repair

1.
Disconnect battery negative and positive terminals, then install short connector on airbag, Fig. 1.
2.
Remove footrest and left door sill molding, then pull back carpet.
3.
Remove dash sensor protector, then sensor mounting bolts and dash sensor.
4.
Reverse procedure to install, torquing sensor mounting bolts to 16 ft. lbs.
