Civic L4-1590cc 1.6L SOHC (VTEC) (1992)
NOTE:
This is just a partial diagnosis. There is a strong possibility the problem is in a rear wheel or drum even if you do not feel a pulsation.
2.
Loosen the rear wheel lug nuts, and torque them to 110 N-m (11.0 kg-m, 80 lb.ft.). Test drive the car to see if the problem is eliminated.
3.
If the problem still exists, replace the rear brake drums (see PARTS INFORMATION).
4.
Reinstall the rear wheels, and torque the lug nuts to 110 N-m (11.0 kg-m, 80 lb.ft.). Test drive the car.
5.
If the problem still exists, replace both rear wheels (see PARTS INFORMATION). Torque the lug nuts properly. Test drive the car.
6.
If the problem still exists, use an on-the-car brake disc refinisher to resurface the front discs.
