Hatchback & Sedan

1.

Remove instrument panel upper caps, then four mounting screws and the panel, Fig. 16.

2.

Remove four instrument cluster attaching screws, the lift cluster assembly to gain access to wiring connectors and speedometer cable.

3.

Remove wire connectors and speedometer cable, then the instrument cluster assembly.

4.

Reverse procedure to install.

Wagon

1.

Remove dashboard lower panel, Fig. 17.

2.

Working under dashboard, remove four instrument panel attaching bolts, then disconnect wire connectors and speedometer cable.

3.

Remove instrument panel with instrument cluster attached.

4.

Remove cluster to panel attaching screws, then the instrument cluster assembly.
