4. If there is voltage, replace valve "B" and retest.
5. If there is no voltage, check thermosensor "A" for continuity.
6. If there is no continuity, replace thermosensor "A" and retest.
7. If there is continuity, check wiring and fuse.
8. Refer to above procedure and, once completing testing for 1981 Civic, proceed to step9.
9. Disconnect lower hose at throttle control valve, install vacuum pump on hose, and create vacuum.
10. If there is vacuum, check operation of thermosensor A" and throttle opener solenoid valve "B," then replace or repair as necessary and retest.
11. If there is no vacuum, create vacuum at 2500 RPM.
12. If there is no vacuum, check for voltage at throttle opener solenoid valve "B."
13. If there is voltage, replace valve "B" and retest.
14. If there is no voltage, replace revolution detector.
