Coaxing the antenna cable down the crowded "A" pillar on a '90 Civic can be tough. The problem is that the cable tends to go down the wrong channel at
the base of the pillar. Here's how to guide it down an easier path:

1.

Buy six feet of 1/2" I.D., 5/8" O.D. clear vinyl tubing from your local hardware store.

2.

Lube the antenna cable with silicone spray, then slide all the cable and about 2" of the antenna into one end of the vinyl tubing.

3.

Lube the outside of the vinyl tubing with silicone spray, then feed it down the pillar. When the end of the tubing reaches the kick panel area, the
tubing/antenna cable through from the bottom. Keep pulling until the antenna cable is all the way in, then pull the tubing off of the cable.
