Alternator FR Signal: Description and Operation
Alternator FR Signal
This signal informs the PGM-FI that the alternator is charging. The PGM-FI sends a positive reference signal out on this line and then measures the
current draw to determine the alternator field state. The lower the current draw, the lower the state of charge.
