Thc installation instructions for '88-90 Civic Hatchback rear speakers tell you to cut away the grooved rectangle from the underside of each rear side
shelf. There's an easier way; just drill two holes in each of those rectangles with a 2.5 inch hole saw! Your installation will go faster.
