Propeller Shaft Service

CIVIC 4WD WAGON

1.

Remove center bearing support from bearing using a suitable puller.

2.

Remove boot attaching bolts from the joint housing of the No. 1 propeller shaft, Fig. 7.

3.

Pull joint housing off propeller shaft. Use caution not to let rollers fall off spider during disassembly. Mark shaft and housing before separating
them to ensure correct assembly.

4.

Pry off the 26 mm circlip, then separate spider from propeller shaft. Mark spider and shaft before separating them to ensure correct
