Brake Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation
1.
Disconnect brake lines from master cylinder, then all necessary electrical connectors.
2.
Remove nuts retaining master cylinder to brake booster.
3.
Remove master cylinder.
4.
Reverse procedure to install. After installation is complete, fill master cylinder with DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid, then bleed brakes as described under
MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/BLEEDING BRAKES.
