Throttle Body Assembly

2. Remove air intake chamber.
3. Remove throttle cable.
4. Remove all electrical connectors.
5. Remove all vacuum and fuel hoses.

NOTE: Place a rag or shop towel over the hoses before disconnecting them.

6. Remove the four throttle body retainer nuts.
7. remove throttle body, place a rag over the intake manifold.
8. Inspect insulator, replaced if cracked or broken.
9. Reverse procedure to install, replacing both the O-ring and the base gasket.

10. Torque throttle body retainer nuts to 16 lb-ft (22 Nm).
