Place the roof rack upside down on a padded surface. Remove the front and rear cross bars from their mounting brackets (2 Torx screws, 2
Phillips-head screws, and 2 washers). Be careful not to scratch the roof rack rails.

Remove the rear support from each side rail (2 Torx screws - one long and one short).

Loosen the mounting bracket knobs, and slide the mounting brackets off the ends of the side rails.

Loosen a mounting bracket knob on the new front cross bar, and slide the mounting bracket onto the end of one of the side rails, making sure that
the knob faces toward the rear, then do the same for the new rear cross bar. Do the same at the other side rail for both cross bars.
