*REVISION SUMMARY
Under WARRANTY CLAIM INFORMATION, an operation number was added for vehicles that do not need spark plugs.*
SYMPTOM
One or more spark plugs may be fouled, and the MIL comes on with at least one of these DTCs: P0300 (random cylinder misfire detected), P0301,
P0302, P0303, or P0304 (No.1 thru No.4 cylinder misfire detected).
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Update the PCM, and replace any fouled spark plugs.

P/N 12290-R70-A01 (except PZEV)
P/N 12290-R71-L01 (PZEV)
SOFTWARE INFORMATION
HDS Software Version:
2.022.101 or later.
HDS Control Module (CM) Update:
Database Update 02-JUL-2010 or later.
NOTE:
To avoid an incorrect repair that would not be covered under warranty, use the software version listed above or a later version.
The updated PGM-FI software program IDs and P/Ns are listed below. If the HDS is loaded with the latest software, and it displays No Update Needed
during the update, the software for this service bulletin is already installed.
