both mainshaft and countershaft assemblies in the clutch housing, temporarily reinstall the transmission housing, and install the mainshaft holder.

7. Raise the tab on countershaft locknut using a hammer and prick punch. Remove the locknut using a 32 mm socket at least 55 mm (12.2 in.) deep,

and a breaker bar.

8. Remove the countershaft 5th gear and spring washer.

9. Remove the transmission housing, and pull the gear assemblies out of the clutch housing, then disassemble countershaft assy.
