1.

Raise and support front of vehicle.

2.

Remove wheel and tire assembly.

3.

Remove brake hose clamps from shock unit.

4.

Remove shock unit lower attaching bolt, Fig. 2.

5.

Remove two shock unit upper attaching bolts, then remove shock unit.

6.

Reverse procedure to install. Torque shock unit upper attaching 28 ft. lbs., lower pinch bolt to 32 ft. lbs. and lower fork bolt to 47 ft. lbs.
