1.
Raise and support front of vehicle and remove wheels.
2.
Remove lower guide pin bolt and pivot caliper up away from pads.
3.
Remove brake pads, spring plate, shim and anti-rattle springs, as equipped, Fig. 4, noting installation position.
4.
Position anti-rattle springs on bracket, then install brake pads. Ensure wear sensor is positioned toward inside, if equipped.
5.
Install shim on outer brake pad, then install spring plate, if equipped.
6.
Loosen caliper bleed screw and compress piston so caliper will fit over pads, then tighten bleed screw.
7.
Rotate caliper down over pads, install guide pin bolt and torque bolt to 20 ft. lbs.
