Hook the bent end of the return spring into its retaining hole.
3.
Lift the straight end of the return spring out of its retaining slot, and put it on the body of the door handle next to the slot.
4.
Cycle the door handle several times to make sure the return spring is secure.
5.
Reinstall the door handle in the door. Test the operation of the door handle and lock.
