5. Measure the resistance between the A and B terminals by moving the float to the distances listed for E (EMPTY), 1/2 (HALF FULL), and F
(FULL).
6. If your readings are not within the ranges listed, replace the fuel gauge sending unit.
NOTE: Use new O-rings or gaskets when reassembling.
