Hatch Weatherstrip Replacement

1. Remove the cargo floor lid and trim panel.
2. Have an assistant help you, remove the tailgate support cables from both sides, and hold the tailgate. Take care not to damage the exterior parts.

3. Remove the hatch weatherstrip (A) by pulling out on it.
4. Locate the painted alignment mark (B) on the hatch weatherstrip. Align the painted mark with the alignment tab in the center of the hatch opening,

and install the hatch weatherstrip all the way around in the direction shown. Make sure there are no wrinkles in the weatherstrip.

5. Reinstall the removed parts in reverse order of removal.
6. Check for water leaks.
