1998 Passport Owner's Manual Information
BACKGROUND
At the time the 1998 Passport owners manual was readied for printing, some aspects of the vehicle had not yet been finalized.
After printing, it was decided to equip the model with 215/75R15 tires as standard equipment. The early versions of the owner's manual do not contain
inflation pressure information for these tires.
It was recently decided to extend the timing belt replacement interval to 75,000 miles. This change is not reflected in the owner's manual maintenance
schedule. It is reflected in the service manual
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Place the enclosed stickers on the appropriate pages of the owner's manuals shown. These changes will be in future printings.
