Muffler: Service and Repair
Exhaust Pipe and Muffler Replacement

 NOTE: 

-

Remove battery negative cable.

-

Raise the vehicle and support with suitable safety stands.

REMOVAL 

1. Exhaust Silencer fixing nuts

-

Disconnect exhaust silencer at three way catalytic converter.

2. Exhaust Silencer fixing nuts

-

Disconnect exhaust silencer at rear exhaust pipe.

3. Exhaust Silencer.

INSTALLATION

To install follow the removal steps in the reverse order.
-

Tighten muffler fixing nuts at chassis side to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).

-

Tighten muffler fixing bolts 43 Nm (32 ft. lbs.).
