Unplug the rear speed sensor sub-harness at connector C304 and the rear speed sensor connector. Remove and discard the sub-harness (five clips).

Remove and discard the clip holding the wire harness to the frame.

Remove the black electrical tape from the end of the corrugated tubing around the wire harness, and peel back the tubing to expose the three wires
leading to connector C304.

Use the stripper/cutter tool (T/N 07JAZ-001020A) to cut the three wires to an equal length. Make sure you remove all damaged or oxidized wire.
Discard connector C304.

6.

Remove 6 to 7 mm of insulation from each of the three wires. Be careful not to nick or cut any of the wire strands.
