Valve Cover: Service and Repair
Left Hand Side

REMOVAL 
 
NOTE:  Remove battery ground cable.
 

1. Air cleaner duct assembly
2. Exhaust gas recirculation pipe

-

Remove flare nut from EGR valve.

-

Remove fixing bolts on cylinder head cover.

-

Remove two fixing bolts on exhaust manifold.

3. Positive crankcase ventilation valve
4. Camshaft angle sensor connector
5. Ground cable

-

Remove fixing bolts on cylinder head cover.

6. Ignition coil connector and Ignition coil

-

Disconnect three connectors from ignition coil. Remove harness bracket bolt on cylinder head cover.

-

Remove fixing bolts on ignition coil.

7. Throttle body and cable

-

Remove four fixing bolts from common chamber.

8. Cylinder head cover Remove 11 fixing bolts, then the cylinder head cover.
