Blower Unit Removal/Installation

Blower Unit Removal/Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

1. Make sure you have the anti-theft codes for the audio and the navigation system, then write down the audio presets.
2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
3. Remove the dashboard.
4. Remove the front evaporator.
5. Remove the wire harness clip (A). Remove the mounting nuts, the mounting bolt, and the blower unit (B).

6. Install the unit in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

For front evaporator and A/C-related information, refer to front evaporator removal/installation.

Do the power window control unit resetting procedure.

Enter the anti-theft codes for the audio and the navigation system, then enter the audio presets.
