No - Go to step 2.
2. Using a leak detector (TIFZX-1 or equivalent), probe the driver's side center console rear vent. If needed, turn on the rear blower to its low setting.
Did you find a leak?
Yes - Go to REPAIR PROCEDURE.
No - This service bulletin does not apply. Continue with normal troubleshooting.
REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Start the engine, and let it idle for 5 minutes with the A/C on.
2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), then use a recovery/recycling/recharging station (Robinair R0B34788 or equivalent) to recover the refrigerant
from the A/C system.
3. Remove the driver's seat.
4. Remove the center console.
5. Remove pipe assembly A from the evaporator:

Remove the pipe clamp (one screw).

Remove the two bolts attaching the pipe assembly to the evaporator.
^
Remove the nut from the suction line side of the pipe assembly.
^
Remove the insulation material from the expansion valve.
^
Remove the expansion valve from the suction line using two wrenches-one to hold the valve nut, and one to turn the line nut.
