Wrap the pipe assembly and the expansion valve with new insulation material.

Connect the expansion valve to the suction line using a new 1/2-inch 0-ring. Torque the suction line nut to 31 N~m (28 lb-ft).
Connect the pipe assembly to the suction line using a new 5/8-inch 0-ring. Torque the nut to 9.8 N.m (7.2 lb-ft).

Connect the pipe assembly to the evaporator using a new 1/2-inch 0-ring and a new 5/8-inch 0-ring. Torque the pipe assembly bolts to 9.8 N.m
(7.2 lb-ft).

Reattach the pipe clamp (one screw).
8. Recharge the A/C system with the recovery/ recycling/recharging station. Recharging includes these substeps:

Evacuate the system.

Add 10 mL (1/3 oz) of DENSO ND-OIL 8 for the new pipe assembly.
^
Add 700 to 750 g of refrigerant.
^
Check for refrigerant leaks.
