Remove pipe assembly A along with its insulation material.
6. Remove the expansion valve from pipe assembly A using two wrenches-one to hold the valve nut, and one to turn the pipe nut. The expansion valve
will be reused.
7. Install new pipe assembly A:
NOTE:
Lubricate the new 0-rings with refrigerant oil before you install them.

Connect the pipe assembly to the expansion valve using a new 1/2-inch 0-ring. Torque the pipe nut to 31 N.m (28 lb-ft).
