About the Prelude
The Prelude was Honda's sporty two-door coupe, loosely based on the Accord, made over five generations from 1978 to 2001 and revived in 2025. It was the first Honda with a moonroof. The third generation of 1987 offered the world's first mechanical four-wheel steering on a mass-production car, and in 1987 Road & Track found the Prelude 2.0Si 4WS faster through the slalom than any car of that year.
