Cruise Control Switch: Service and Repair
Set/Resume/Cancel Switch

Set/Resume/Cancel Switch Test/Replacement 

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable, then disconnect the positive cable, and wait at least three minutes.
2. Disconnect the driver's airbag and front passenger's airbag connectors.
3. Remove the dashboard lower cover and knee bolster.

4. Disconnect the 4P connector between the combination switch harness and main wire harness.

5. Check for continuity between the terminals of the 4P connector in each switch position according to the table.

If there is continuity, and it matches the table, the switch is OK.

If there is no continuity in any position, go to step 6.

6. Remove the steering column covers.
7. Disconnect the combination switch harness 4P connector from the cable reel.

8. Check for continuity between the terminals as shown:

If there is no continuity, replace the combination switch harness.

If there is continuity, go to step 9.
