If you are doing REPAIR PROCEDURE B, use only one manufacturer's line of urethane primer and sealant products (PPG only, 3M only, etc.).

P/N 06991-SA5-000, H/C 2086650 (One roll repairs 10 vehicles.)

TOOL INFORMATION

6-inch Steel Ruler

Snap-on P/N RULER600 or equivalent

Glass Stand

3M P/N 02519 or equivalent

DIAGNOSIS

1.

Test-drive the vehicle under the same conditions as when the wind noise was heard. Verify that the noise comes from the upper corners of the
windshield and not from other sources (roof rack, hood wind deflector, rear trim on the roof, etc.).

If the noise comes from the upper corners of the windshield, go to step 2.
