IMPROVED REVERSE GEAR SHIFT QUALITY
DESCRIPTION:
The following three (3) improvements have been applied to the reverse shift lever assembly to reduce the possibility of reverse gear "hard" shifts and
gear grind noise:
1.
Lever travel in "Reverse" has been reduced from 14.3 mm to 12.2 mm.
2.
Lever travel in "Neutral" has been increased from 37.4 mm to 37.8 mm.
3.
Tension of the shift lever fixing ball has been reduced from 5.5 kgf to 4.1 kgf.
