Fuel Gauge: Testing and Inspection
Inspection

1. Remove the instrument cluster.
2. Measure the resistance between terminals. (Terminals No DLX-No.24, 29/ STD-No.27, 22)

Standard resistance

6.5 Ohms

1/2 :

32.5 Ohms

E

:

95 Ohms

NOTE:  If the resistance value is extremely low, there may be a short in the coil; if tit is extremely high, there may be a broken wire or some other
problems in the coil.
