Air Bag Control Module: Service Precautions
CAUTION

Never attempt to disassemble or repair the SRSCM. If faulty, replace it.

Do not drop or subject the SRSCM to impact or vibration. If denting, cracking, deformation, or rust are discov ered in the SRSCM, replace it with
a new SRSCM. Discard the old one.

After deployment of an air bag, replace the SRSCM with a new one.

Never use an ohmmeter on or near the SRSCM and use only the Scan Tool.
