DESCRIPTION:
Some 2001-2004 model year Elantra front power window regulators have been produced with motors originally designed for 1996-2000 model year
Elantras. On these vehicles, the LH labelled motor is installed in the RH regulator, and a RH labelled motor is installed in the LH regulator.
PROCEDURE:
When replacing a front window regulator motor, identify the removed motor part number and order that same part number as a replacement part.
NOTE:
This condition does not exist in the left rear and right rear doors.
