Campaign Description
CONDITION
Potential fade and wear problems with the front brake pads.
CORRECTION
The original organic brake pads will be replaced with newly designed semi-metallic pads.
VEHICLE AFFECTED
All 1986 and all 1987 model year Excels except automatic transmission equipped vehicles built on or after March 2,1987.
Removal
1.
Remove the front wheels as shown.
2.
Remove the pad protector by prying up the clip as shown. Take care not to damage this part as it will be reused during reassembly.
