MODELS W/SUMITOMO CALIPER
1.
Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel/tire assembly.
2.
Remove pad protector by prying upward at center with screwdriver or equivalent tool.
3.
Remove M-clip and K-spring from pad retaining pins, Fig. 1.
4.
Remove brake pad retaining pins from caliper, then pull brake pads from caliper assembly and remove anti-squeak shim from outer pad.
5.
Bottom piston in caliper using suitable tool.
6.
Install anti-squeak shim onto outer pad, then install pads and retaining pins into caliper.
7.
Install M-clip and K-spring onto retaining pins, then place pad protector into position on retaining pins.
