NOTE:

It is important that the front brake discs are equal in size. Therefore, if it is necessary to resurface a front disc, it is important to resurface both
discs an equal amount. Where disc replacement is required, replace both discs. Never resurface or replace just one (1) disc. Keep the set
identical. For disc removal procedures, refer to the appropriate Hyundai Shop Manual.

CAUTION: 

Before installing new brake pads, make certain that all oil and grease is cleaned from the brake disc.

CAUTION: 

The pads for the right and left wheels must be replaced at the same time. Never "split" or intermix brake pad sets. All four pads must be
replaced as a complete set. If the old pads are worn, it will be necessary to push the piston back into the caliper using SST 09581-11000. This
will provide sufficient clearance to install the new pads.

10.

Install new brake pads and a new anti-squeal shim.

NOTE:

The shim must be installed only between the outer pad and the caliper.
