1.

Press old valve guide from cylinder head toward lower surface, using tool 09222-21200 or equivalent.

Ream each valve guide bore in cylinder head to the O.D. of replacement valve guide.

Press fit new valve guide into top of cylinder head using tool No. 09222-21200 or equivalent, Fig. 5. Tool No. 09222-21200 installs valve guide
to a pre-determined height. If this tool is not available, ensure that distance between cylinder head and top of guide is .579-.602 inch, Fig.
5. If a standard size valve guide has been removed, the replacement guide should be oversized. Ensure that valve guides are installed at
room temperature.

After installation of new guides, install valves and ensure ease of movement, then check for correct valve contact and seating.
