Engine Control Module: Description and Operation
Electronic Control Unit (ECU)

Mounted in the passenger compartment, this component consists of a printed circuit board enclosed in a protective metal box. The ECU receives
analog inputs from the various sensors and converts them to digital signals. These digital signals are processed and used by the ECU to control the fuel
delivery, secondary air management, deceleration spark control and throttle opener systems.
